Who is responsible
This website is a personal website operated by Yuganshu Kathuria, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Yuganshu Kathuria is the controller responsible for the personal data processed through this site. You can make contact using the details on the contact page.
What data is collected
This site collects only the personal data you choose to provide. If you use the contact form, that is your name, email address, any organisation you enter, and the content of your message. If you subscribe to the newsletter, that is your email address. The site does not require you to create an account.
Why it is processed and the legal basis
Contact details are processed to respond to your enquiry and, where you have asked, to send the newsletter you subscribed to. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) for the newsletter, and the handling of your enquiry at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) for messages you send. Your data is not sold and is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.
Newsletter
The newsletter is sent only to people who have subscribed. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it was withdrawn.
Hosting and service providers
This website is served as static content by a hosting provider, which may process technical connection data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver the site securely. Where a newsletter or form provider is used to process the details you submit, that provider acts on documented instructions as a processor under Article 28 GDPR.
Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Any storage used is limited to what is strictly necessary to make the site work, such as remembering your light or dark theme preference during your visit.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data and to request its rectification or erasure, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Germany the data protection authority of your federal state.
